I believe this is a pretty even fight and go with the plus money.
Not in a mood for a write up though.

wasn`t able to post...couldn`t find this site...had it in my favorites then nothing......

am still licking my wounds after getting a "gift" draw with marquez...i was very....very disappointed at another marquez slow start...after all the talk, the guy still fought cocky and relaxed in the first round....and it cost him dearly.....

the guy just can`t focus early...he`s to used to manhandling guys....and i didn`t think he looked all that sharp late in the fight...that`s what happens when a guy breaks your nose and you swallow a quart of blood....

he went down several notches in my book...i don`t care that he came back after getting punished...he deserved to lose that decision....and now he wants no part of a rematch?.....that`s b.s...he has plenty to prove...

he is a notch below barrera and morales in their prime....i was very disappointed...

so much for that b.s...

the jauregui/diaz fight is way to good for a thursday night.....the keys,as i see them are....

diaz gets off fast and outboxes jauregui....he`s slicker and faster....a much better boxer.......jauregui has the better stamina, chin and power....

if it gets to the cards,i expect diaz should be able to do enough...but i worry about his stamina...he tends to fade in some fights....and jauregui will pressure him....

i liked the over 8.5.....i believe that diaz should get that far...i think the later rounds will be tough for diaz...his chin has been less than overwhelming....and i wasn`t impressed with the burton win...burton beat a shot manfredy.....now,that win doesn`t look so good....

i was surprised at the odds...i thought they`d be much tighter because diaz has been on t.v. more often...

if the odds drop to 150 or below,i`ll look at jauregui....to catch diaz late...

probably won`t see those odds...if not,i`ll play the over and just enjoy the fight....

one thing...in the photos i saw, diaz looked like much the bigger guy....

the co-feature with montiel and gonzales will be a good one,too...if the veteran montiel wasn`t stepping up in weight,i`d take a shot at the over....but he`s stepping up at least 6-8 pounds...and at this weight, that`s pretty significant....

I know, what is wrong with this website? Half of the time its not working, jesus. Come on Spinch, dont be too hard on your guy. He showed alot of grit and skill in making that the fight it was. I give him alot of credit.
I didnt hear about him running from a rematch.
If he is Im seriously losing respect for him.

Well done my friend.
What do think about Shufford at +425.
I havent see his last fight but Shufford is not such a bad boxer and being cautious is maybe not a bad idea agaisnt Peter.
peter has serious fire power and decent hand speed, but thats it. He moves slow has virtually no defence, stamina ? chin ? (probably decent with his defence )technic workrate ?
Bottom line is i see a major scenario that Shufford outboxes peter in a non exiciting boring HW fight. 120 bucks to win a nickel, most probably he will get knocked out but its worth a shoot. +425 is way too high.

Peters opened -450 and has been getting bet up all night. I agree, Shufford higher than +300 might be worth a shot, but the chalk layers keep hitting the fav.

Nice call on Diaz. I thought Jarequi was gonna win by late KO and so did the most knowledgable best fight guy that I talk too regularly.

does anybody see bonsante or manfredo knocking the other out?.....i sure don`t....cuts are a consideration.....and -180 or 185 is a little steep to basically bet on this thing going the full 12....

shufford`s hit the wall the last few times out...the mccline fight was a bit of an embarrassment...and i`m just not used to seeing lou duva taking chances with prime prospects.....

the o/u is 7.....

i`m hearing that calvin brock looks like a really solid prospect.....he`s fighting another undefeated guy...i think tomorrow...i`m anxious to see him...

I think Bonsante is live dog anywhere but Providence, Rhode Island. The 1st bout 2nite set the tone for home court advantage.

After watching the Lora kid almost get screwed on undercard , I think Bonsante will need to really whip his ass to get a dec in RI.
